Update batch system SLURM (10-11-23).
Dear CICC users!
from 08.11.23 13:00 to 10.11.23 13:00 please do not start new tasks in SLURM. It is planned to update the batch SLURM system at the CICC farm due to a serious security hole in the current version. So, updating SLURM databases is lengthy and not easy, the process takes a lot of time, tasks in queues or running ones can fail. The actual update will take place on 11/10/23 from 13:00 to 21:00.

Dear Users of CICC!
The CICC has CVMFS and EOS subsystems installed, which will serve as the basis for storage and access with large repositories of programs and large data.
CVMFS service to deploy large software packages of collaborations operating in the WLCG. At present, we already have software versions NICA, BM @ N, MPD (/ cvmfs / nica, / cvmfs / …) and occupy 9.5 GB.
EOS is designed to store and access large amounts of information. Currently our EOS has a capacity of 4PB. It is common to Tier1 and Tier2. Experiments are currently used to store raw data: BM @ n ~ 81TB, MPD ~ 84GB simulation data, ALICE 712TB.

At JINR, a single user authentication system, Single Sign-On (SSO), which provides access to pin.jinr.ru, disk.jinr.ru, lxpub {01-05} .jinr.ru, the Document DatabaseJINR, ADB2, SED.
You can get the sso-login-password either after receiving registration at the LIT farm, or from the system administrators of your Laboratory, or at the JINR Network Service (LIT, page 216, tel.6-34-88, noc@jinr.ru)
By changing the password through any of these services, you automatically change access everywhere.
Announcement.
From March 20 to 22, the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems (DLNP) farm has been transferred to the “unscheduled downtime” mode. Therefore, access for some users to the LIT farm whose “home directory” is located on the DLNP AFS server is temporarily unavailable.
2017.
On December 26 and 27 all CICC services will be stopped to replace LAN routers and reorganization power supply systems. Starting new jobs on the batch will be stopped on the 24th of December at 12:00.
