Users must follow the rules:

- for access at the lxpub, lxui clusters you need SSO login
FYI: The password can be changed on any of the cluster machines using the kpasswd command or on the website https://login.jinr.ru (if you have an sso password)
2) Cluster hosts login rules:
You can loggin the cluster with Linux ssh and Windows putty, bitvise ssh client for the following hosts only :
lxpub.jinr.ru – interactive cluster,
lxui.jinr.ru- gateway for external connections
The following local xterm is recommended to be used:
xterm -e ssh username@lxpubXX.jinr.ru, where XX=01,02,03,04,05,11
and
ssh -X username@lxpubXX.jinr.ru for GUI work.
On entering via ssh/scp/sftp it is strongly recommended to use RSA or host identification w/o a password using .ssh/authorized_keys (see Network secure work)
To work with the EOS system, it is RECOMMENDED to log in with a password for get authorization kerberos. All eos instructions are here.
For members of virtual organizations, there are two options – without and with kerberos. Details in the instructions.
3) Interactive work.
An interactive operation is enabled for the following hosts only:
lxpubXX.jinr.ru , XX=01,02,03,04,05
lxuiXX.jinr.ru, XX=01,02,03,04
Any user job may be treated as an interactive work, as long as any of processed started by one – consumes less than 100% of a single CPU computing power and continues for less than 15 minutes.
To handle large software packages the batch system (SLURM) is recommended to be used.
The rules listed above being violated result into halting all of the processes stoped by a user from an interactive cluster.
4) Certificates : To perform work at a virtual organization (VO), you must obtain a certificate of the corresponding VO: rdig, local VO (baikalgvd, bmn, mpd,spd,)
