The MPD is future experiment at the Nuclotron-based Ion Collider facility (NICA) under construction at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
The MPD apparatus has been designed as a 4π spectrometer capable of detecting of charged hadrons, electrons and photons in heavy-ion collisions at high luminosity
The MPD collaboration consist of 195 scientists: from JINR(110) and other Institutions (85)
