WLCG    

The Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) project is a global collaboration of more than 170 computing centres in 42 countries, linking up national and international grid infrastructures. About WLCG with a less technical perspective, please see the WLCG Public site.

Services are installed at T1_RU_JINR with grid middleware EMI/UMD
Currently, 21 services WLCG are installed to provide :

  1. user and virtual organizations (VO) authorization; .
  2. task run from VO remote services.
  3. the WLCG information system;
  4. different algorithms of remote testing and verification of the service
    environment on local resources.

  • Hardware :

2 x VOBox (CMS PheDEx: CPU E3-1281 v3 @ 3.70GHz, 8 cores (HT on); 16G RAM; 2x1GbE
17 virtual machines (KVM).

  • Software:

Scientific Linux release
EMI/UMD x86_64
WLCG x86_64 for VOBOX Phedex
Torque 4.2.10 (home made)
