Access to common software, home directories and experiment software is provided by AFS, cvmfs, gitlab.

AFS

AFS service provides network file storage for users (home directories, workspaces): /afs/jinr.ru/user/… and project spaces: /afs/jinr.ru/project/

The software is installed by the CICC  administrators  or by responsible user with the right for write to the correspond project space.

CVMFS (/ cvmfs)

The CICC website is equipped with the CVMFS global file system support system, which is used to deploy large collaboration software packages working in WLCG and not only ( for instance NICA). Files and directories are mounted in the universal   namespace : /cvmfs

The reposipory CICC CVMFS is updated on the server by those responsible for the experiment software. Instructions for working with CVMFS are here.
